When Gabe’s shirt lay on the floor, Livvy reached for the waistband of his trousers. Her hands trembled so that she fumbled with the buttons. He chuckled and helped her unfasten them.

He lay down and drew her beside him, cradling her against his body. Slowly he lowered her skirt over her hips, her legs, arousing her nerve endings with each caress of his knuckles against skin. Sandpaper against silk, his touch excited and inflamed her.

She turned her head to accept his kiss, and his hands began their glorious exploration once more. Her breasts tingled with each bold brush of his fingers. Her stomach fluttered as his hand passed over it to stroke the skin inside her thighs. He found the softest part of her and coaxed her wetness to the surface again.

Heat ignited in her abdomen and spread like wildfire to that part of her that was suddenly the center of the universe. She quivered where his hands courted her while the rest of her body shimmered in anticipation of the release that was the inevitable mystery she craved.

“Open for me, sweetheart,” he whispered in her ear. She complied. He mounted her and guided his erection to her center. He drew in a sharp breath and pushed against her. “You’re ready, love, but it hurts a bit the first time.”

“I understand.” She reached over his shoulders, felt his back muscles bunch under her fingers. “Now, Gabe,” she rasped into his ear. “Don’t make me wait any longer.”

He drove inside her. There was a quick burst of awareness. Not pain so much as a signal of pleasure to come. It vanished quickly, leaving in its place fast-licking flames of desire that spread throughout her body. Gabe moved over her. With each thrust, the flames licked hotter. She reveled in the heat and rode with him to the place he wanted her to go until her body shuddered and seemed lit from within with a thousand stars. And then a cry of exquisite release tore from her mouth.
